What’s different about working with me?

I don’t use photos, measurements, or weight to track progress. Here’s why:

  • The only thing we can tell about a person using these physical markers is how their body shape is changing. It doesn’t actually tell us anything about their overall health, happiness, strength, fitness level, or behaviors.

  • It sends the message that coaching changes bodies, when in reality, great coaching changes lives.

  • It gives the false idea that losing weight or changing our body composition automatically improves our health. This is often not the case.

  • It perpetuates objectification. Your appearance is not your life’s work, your value, or anything else; it is actually the least interesting thing about you.

  • It leads us to believe that the most important transformations are external, when the reality is that they’re internal.
