What’s different about working with me?
I don’t use photos, measurements, or weight to track progress. Here’s why:
The only thing we can tell about a person using these physical markers is how their body shape is changing. It doesn’t actually tell us anything about their overall health, happiness, strength, fitness level, or behaviors.
It sends the message that coaching changes bodies, when in reality, great coaching changes lives.
It gives the false idea that losing weight or changing our body composition automatically improves our health. This is often not the case.
It perpetuates objectification. Your appearance is not your life’s work, your value, or anything else; it is actually the least interesting thing about you.
It leads us to believe that the most important transformations are external, when the reality is that they’re internal.
