My mission is to help women like you ditch the scale, the fad diets, and the unhealthy and damaging rhetoric we hear far too often in the health and wellness industry. I want you to actually find deep health in your mind, body, and soul.

I created this holistic health & life coaching program because I see too many women trying to shrink themselves, trying to force their bodies to look a certain way using methods that not only don’t work, but are dangerous!
The truth is, you are more than a body. The diet industry doesn’t want you to know this, but loving your body doesn’t have anything to do with what it looks like. Learning to love yourself is a whole-life experience, and improving your body image is an inside job.
Even physical health is so much more than food and movement! Sleep, stress, hydration, hormones, genetics…there are SO many more things that go into cultivating deep health than how many hours of cardio you do, how many days your close your rings, or how many picture-perfect meals you eat.

Hi, beautiful! I’m Lara.
I created The Body Trust Collaborative because it’s the program that I wish I’d had much earlier in my health & personal development journey.
✧ I was a “yes woman” who didn’t set boundaries out of fear of hurting others’ feelings or making them upset.
✧ I was so exhausted that I was falling asleep at stoplights.
✧ I was prediabetic and had gut issues that I didn’t know how to heal.
✧ I felt super fucking guilty taking days off from the gym.
✧ I spent YEARS running myself into the ground, putting everything and everyone before my own health and wellbeing.
But once I got to the other side, I knew I had to create something to help all the women who feel the way I used to feel.
Now, I get to guide you to experience the joy, ease, and peace that I never knew was possible for me.
✨Now, I set and enforce loving boundaries.
✨I prioritize sleep. (Literally...it is a NON-NEGOTIABLE!)
✨I fuel my body with foods that nourish my physical body AND my soul.
✨I am SO present with my people because I’m not distracted by food & my body.
✨I know that I don’t have to earn my worth, because it simply comes from the fact that I AM THE ONLY ME.
✨I take a many rest days as I need without ever feeling guilty.
✨I put myself first, so that I have the capacity to powerfully serve others.
And speaking of serving others…
I also realized that my purpose on this earth is to help other women achieve the balance, confidence, and self-love that I have.
I know that YOUR purpose is not to spend your life trying to shrink your one and only body.
I’m not a regular coach…I’m a cool coach!
Ok all jokes aside, here’s what makes working with me different:
I say “fuck” a lot.
I have a background in education, music, and pedagogy and utilize this knowledge in my coaching.
I take a HAES (health at every size) approach to my coaching and know that we can’t tell someone’s health just by looking at them.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and always meet my clients where they are.
I care deeply about social justice, racial equity, and accessibility and I donate accordingly.
I have multiple certifications in nutrition, Intuitive Eating, movement, and education, and am continuously investing in becoming a better coach.
I genuinely love the shit out of my clients. Like, they’re just so cool!!

Nope! Here’s the deal - my goal is not to change your body. My goal is to help you feel healthier, happier, and more confident. Often, when clients begin to tune into what their body needs, they do end up changing their body composition. But, that is not the intent of the program; it is a byproduct of doing the inner work and building habits that are beneficial to our lives! Will you be healthier and understand your body better after this program? Yes! Will that enable you to reach goals you have around your body? Probably. But shrinking is NOT the point of having a healthy relationship with food and movement. :)
